PHOTOGRAPHY & FILM

WAIT (2012)

Wait is a poetry film I wrote and shot in Paris in the summer of 2012, which reflects on the transition from alienation to contemplation and the sensorial process of letting go of a centralized sense of subjectivity. The film builds on Deleuze & Guattari's nomadic philosophy and eco-feminist critiques of Western philosophy, and explores the possibility of spontaneous encounters, decentralized notions of perception, and renouncing narcissistic forms of desire, as a means to retrace the lost paths towards early experiences of contemplation and being embedded in the world.
